History

Freckles Frozen Custard was opened in May 2000 by two college friends Don McKinney and James Clary. After experiencing the incredible treat known as Frozen Custard in St. Louis, we decided that Tulsans would like the product as much as we did. After much research and recipe testing, we, along with our wives, Lisa and Melinda, opened Freckles May 1st, 2000. Our second store opened June 17th, 2001 in Owasso, Oklahoma. The response to our product has been tremendous and for that we are grateful. Thank you to all for your support and encouragement!
